Jedním z hlavních úkolů hygienických služeb UNIFIL je stálé monitorování incidencí nemocí u vojáků a civilnich zaměstnanců, jejichž výskyt je spojen s neuspokojivymi sanitárně-hygienickými podmínkami společenského prostředí. One of the main tasks of the hygienic services of the UNIFIL is permanent monitoring in soldiers and civilian employees of the incidence of diseases the occurrence of which is associated with the unsatisfactory sanitary-hygienic conditions of the social environment.
