Gunshot Wounds of the Heart - Case Report

Strelné poranenia i v mierových podmienkach majú stúpajúcu tedenciu najmä nárastom kriminality a organizovaného terorizmu. Prežívajúce strelné poranenia srdca sa vyskytujú zriedkavejšie, pretože väčšina z nich umiera na mieste nehody. Najmenšiu nádej na prežitie majú priestrely komôr. Prezentovanému s priestrelom pravej komory sa nám podarilo život zachrániť rýchlym transportom zraneného do nemocnice, neodkladným poskytnutím odbornej pomoci v úzkej spolupráci s anesteziologóm-intenzivistom a kvalitnou pooperačnou starostlivosťou.

Gunshot wounds even in peace-time have been increasing above all due to enhanced criminality and organized terrorism. Survival rate of gunshot wounds of the heart is rare, since majority of voctims die just at the site of incident. Perforating wounds of the ventricles have a minimum chance of survival. We succeeded to save a presented patient with the penetrating wound of the right ventricle due to a fast transport to hospital, an emergency specialized care in a close cooperation with an anesthesiologist and a quality postoperative care.
