Dear readers and friends of MMSL, a year has gone by since my last greeting to you was published in the MMSL. As I predicted there, the year has been full of visible and less visible changes in the journal. Those, who only read our articles, may have missed the implementation of a new editorial system tailored specifically to the needs of the journal. The system that shows its features mainly to the authors submitting their articles has brought major advances to the editorial process.
