The authors review a book of the Swiss surgeon who, for the last three decades, has been dealing with victims of armored conflicts, humanitarian crises or individual trauma experiences, suffering from the post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). In contradistinction to generally accepted materialistic approach to its treatment, he uses holistic, strongly personalized methods very much based on emotions relief. By means of the „OGE“ or reverse of ego approach developed by himself, the energy and feelings blocked in these victims can be released, thus preventing the development of secondary disorders. This in French written book can be recommended especially to psychologists, psychiatrists and psychosomatic medical doctors and other specialists across medical fields who are more interested in the PTSD problems.
