The basis of this article is the fact that I was a member of the Czechoslovak delegation to the Conference on Disarmament for negotiations on the text of the Convention on the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons and on their Destruction. The text was finished on 8 August 1994 and after 65 ratification the Convention entered into force 29 April 1997. Articles very briefly, the underlined, contributions (Czechoslovak) for finalization of the Convention, and some private stories wording during negotiation of the text agreed.
