THE INFLUNCE OF INTERSTITIAL LASER HYPERTHERMIA ON TUMOROUS TISSUE EXPERIMENT

V experimentu na myších byla provedena studie prokazující destrukci tumorózní tkáně působením intersticiální laserové hypertermie (ILH). Rozsah nekrotického postižení tumorózní tkáně po ozáření laserem byl stejný při použití dvou rozdílných hodnot výstupního výkonu laseru. Používání co nejnižší terapeutický účinné hodnoty výkonu laseru při ILH má značný význam pro zabránění karbonizaci světlovodného vlákna během výkonu.

In this experiment on mice a stuaj/ proving the destruction of tumorous tissue by the efi'ect of interstítial laser hyperthermia was conducted. The extent Ofnecrotic damage to tumorous tissue after irradiation with a laser was the same using two diflerent values of laser output power. The use of the lowest therapeutically effective value Of laser output during interstítial laser hyperthermia is significant for the prevention of carbonization ofthe light conductivefìlament during the output.
