AN IN VITRO COMPARISON OF THE REACTIVATOR EFFICACY OF POTENTIAL SYMMETRIC BISQUATERNARY ACETYLCHOLINESTERASE REACTIVATORS WHICH DIFFER IN THEIR CONNECTING CHAIN LENGTH

Byla porovnána reaktivační účinnost dvou potenciálních reaktivátorů acetylcholinesterázy inhibované nervově paralytickou látkou VX — I,3-bis(2-hydroxyiminomethypyridinium) propan dibromidu a 1,4-bis(2-hydroxyiminomethypyridinium) butan dibromidu. Ukázalo se, že oxim s delším spojovacím řetězcem je lepším reak, tivátorem VX-inhibovane' acetylcholinesterázy.

The reactivation potencies of two potential reactivators of the VX-inhibited acetycholinesterase — I.3-bis(2-hydroxyiminomethypyridinium) propane dibromide and 1.4-bis(2-hya'roxyiminomethypyridinium) butane dibromide were compared. Oxime with its longer connecting chain seems to be a better reactivator of VX-inhibited acetylcholinesterase.
