AN EVALUATION OF CZECH AIR FORCE AIRPLANE COLLISIONS WITH BIRDS ON THE TERRITORY OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC FROM 1993 TO 1999

Příspěvek vychází ze získaných údajů o případech střetů vojenských letadel a vrtulníků Armády České republiky, ke kterým došlo od 1. ledna 1993 do 22. července 1999 na území České republiky, tedy od vzniku Armády České republiky do uzávěrky této práce. Vyhodnoceno je celkem 165 případů kolizí.

This article is based on data obtained concerning cases of collisions between birds and Czech Army airplanes and helicopters which occurred on the territory of the Czech Republic from January 1, 1993 to July 22, 1999. This means from the time when the Czech Army came into existence till the end of this study. A total of 165 collision cases were evaluated.
